FOLLOW THESE TIPS AND YOUR JOB IS SURE TO BE A HIT!

Platform / Programs
Macintosh is the preferred platform for electronic art, and we accept artwork created in the following programs: Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop, PageMaker, InDesign, Freehand. Please include any Quark Xtensions you've used in creating your file.

Fonts
Please include all fonts (screen and printer) with your job. Do not use TrueType Fonts. Do not modify a font by applying a style or attribute in your layout program (example: do not create a bold version of your font by clicking the Bold option in your application's toolbox).

Graphics
Graphics files should be saved as EPS or TIFF file formats. No PICT, JPEG or GIF files will be accepted. Full-color images should be saved as CMYK, not RGB. Scanned images should be provided at the following resolutions: Grayscale = 300 d.p.i., CMYK = 300 d.p.i., Lineart (Bitmap) = 1200 d.p.i. Images should be placed in your layout program at 100% or smaller (enlargements compromise quality). Please include all images used in the layout, in their original format (even embedded or nested images).

Clipping Paths
Clipping paths should be created in Photoshop, not Quark Xpress.

Colors
Define all colors as spot or CMYK in both graphics and page layout programs.

Media
Artwork can be provided on the following media: CD, Jazz, Zip, Floppy or DVD RAM. Or, just upload the file to our FTP site! Please be sure to compress your attachments before uploading files.

PDFs
If you supply a PDF file, please also supply the original file with all the supporting files (fonts, images, Xtensions, etc.).

Type conversion
Please convert all type created in Illustrator or Freehand to outlines or paths.

Proofs
Please include both a composite proof and laser separations with your job. Printing laser separations allows you to double check that your file will color separate properly and helps you to stay within your print budget.

Proofread
Please proofread your files carefully. We cannot be responsible for errors in submitted files.
