Lots of people ask about our tagline, "Our Presses Go to Eleven." For one thing, it shows we've spent more time watching the movie Spinal Tap than is entirely healthy. Even more important, though, it illustrates how far we at Mission Press will go to meet our clients' printing needs.
Sure, every commercial printer will tell you that outstanding service is what sets them apart. But show them an ambitious die-cut, a complex varnish or an involved delivery request, and see how deep that commitment really goes.
Here at Mission Press, though, the unusual is the usual. In fact, it's the whole reason we launched the company way back in 1999. We'd seen the big, impersonal, one-size-fits-all printers at work, and we thought it was time for something better - a shop that combined hefty, commercial-sized capabilities with a more creative, approachable, flexible attitude toward both client service and the craft of printing itself.
Since then, we've worked side-by-side with hundreds of clients to solve the problems and meet the challenges that are par for the course when you don't settle for "good enough." If that makes for some long hours here at the shop, well, we'd probably just be home replaying Spinal Tap otherwise.
